All posters must register a free account with Excelsior News and agree to the Terms of Use.
All posts will be welcome with the following exceptions:
*Posts which extol violence, real or virtual, against any individual or group.
*Posts which denigrate any individual or group.
*Posts which promote illegal activity.
*Posts promoting, debating, arguing or infering political or religious beliefs, views, news or opinions. This board is designed to discuss entertainment topics, and any posts dealing with politics and/or religion will be deleted.
*Posts containing material likely to cause offence, that are protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right - without the express permission of the owner of such copyright - or that contain personal information such as but not limited to phone numbers or addresses.
*SPAM and unauthorized advertising and solicitation.
*Flooding and excessive cross posts.
*Pornography (It should be noted that the definition may be a matter of opinion. As a general rule, nudity is not allowed and absolutely no portrayal of sexual acts. Any image posted that might be considered objectionable should have a valid, topic related reason for being posted. In the event of a disagreement all decisions by site Admins are final.)
VIOLATIONS OF RULES OF CONDUCT
1st offense: Warning #1 (Via e-mail if applicable)
2nd offense: Warning #2
3rd offense: Temporary Ban (time to be decided by Admins)
4th offense: Permanent Ban
Any stage may be skipped at the discretion of an Excelsior Administrator based on the severity of the infraction (i.e. SPAM, blatant harassment, continued disruptions etc.).
MEDIATION OF DISPUTES
Any dispute between posters and/or moderators should be e-mailed to one of the Excelsior Administrators for mediation. The Administration will review and decide on a ruling. All decisions by Excelsior Administrators are final. If the member is still not satisfied, they may resign their membership.
PRIVACY POLICY
A valid e-mail address is required for every user on this board.
Rest assured, however, that we will not intentionally give, sell, trade, or otherwise deliver your information to anyone. It is strictly so that the Administration of this board can get in touch with you if the need arises.
