While moving to newer and better servers, FreeForums failed to back-up some of its data, consequently losing an entire month of posts in a server move debacle.

This error confirms the administrations decision to move to a hosted server being the right decision to make.

This error could have happened to an on-site, non-hosted server.

While the error and subsequent loss of data is irritating, we have been assured by FreeForums that steps have been take to insure this will not happen again.

FreeForums does suffer from the occasional bug, but the lack of advertisements and freedom to change and modify our forum makes this still the optimun choice at this point.
