Okay; that's a good point... but I guess as a Resistance fighter, fighting for my life, I would need several levels of verification, rather than a (n abnormally powerful) radio broadcast (that Skynet didn't seem to pick up... or care about...)

Further, something else occurred to me. This movie didn't seem to further the Terminator story at all. As I write, I'm finding difficulty in articulating what I mean. I guess when compared to Terminator, or T2, or T3 (even though I didn't see it... but I know what happens), this just didn't seem like an equal portion of the story. This seems like it should've been a comic mini series or an animated supplement on the DVD of a more substantial movie.

Also, Moon Bloodgood's character... for as hot as she is, the character was wasted. She committed treason for what? There was no establishment of motivation.

I don't know. Somehow, I still enjoyed myself... maybe I'm being too hard on Transformers...

I kind of agree. This seeemed like it could have been a 2 part episode of TSCC instead of a stand-alone movie. The story could definitely have been better.

I thought the same thing. So he saved you from a bunch of rednecks that wanted to rape you, that makes you want to commit treason? WTF? Sure, that's a big deal, but when you find out he's a machine that should pretty much end all sympathy you have toward the guy. Granted it turned out "okay" because he WAS a good guy, but how does she know that at the point where she set him free?

Exactly... and they could've explained it well, if it was a completely different (or separate) movie.

In fact, this movie is three movies in one, I just realized. Kyle's story. Marcus' story. The creation of the Arnie-bot. All three of those could've been movies in and of themselves.

I've already made my little T-800 bitch, and, having done that, do not feel all that compelled to say anything else about it.

Every time Bryce was on screen, I found myself wondering if this was the "really emotional" scene where Bale had so famously blown his top. No scene seemed emotional enough to have put him in the state he was in. In fact, there were no scenes between them that I would characterize as having been performed with much emotion on either of their parts. (Maybe the let's-switch-out-the-hearts-on-youse-guys scene toward the end?)

I think that was all just a bunch of bullshit and Christian Bale's just a dick.
