At first I was trying to grab the debris and throw it at them, but the easier way is to just grab the TIEs and throw them at each other. If you go way to the left or right as they are turning to circle back again, you get the blue box to grip them. Grab 'em, and toss it at another one. Usually the beginning of the wave they are so close together you can get 2 or 3 at a time. Good luck! The next level is even harder.

I did it. I finally did it. I pulled that motherfucking Star Destroyer right down into the ground! GRRRR!

Then, I proceeded to beat the game. After fucking up a Star Destroyer, Vader and the Emperor seemed kinda... easy.

Kinda.

I liked the game. I liked the story. The gameplay wasn't as bad as I thoguht it was going to turn out to be. I probably won't play it again, but it was fun.

I'd *like* to beat it, but my Xbox is on a truck somewhere between Milwaukee and Texas. With any luck I'll have it back sooner than they said.

At what point were you when it died? I'm assuming you saw the cut scene between the star destroyer and getting to the death star, right? I like that Jimmy Smits told Proxy to cut the transmission so they wouldn't discover Leia was in on it.

Is that a spoiler? I don't really think so...

Yeah, I got past that. Pretty cool stuff. I am, (was), stuck in the hanger when you first get to the DS. I tried it probably a dozen times and kept dying after I dealt with the AT-ST. I read something that said you could force blast open the door and move on without killing anything. I may try that when I finally get the 360 back.

Oh, yeah. You don't have to kill those fuckers. Just run to the middle of the room and you'll see the hatch in the floor glowing blue. Do a force repulse and you fall through into a tunnel.

Gamespot has a pretty good walkthrough if you want to peek at it (it helped me a lot)... I can post it if you do.

Oh, and going back to the TIE Fighters... it was easier for me to run to the right-hand end of the screen rather than the left. That's when I was able to kill them fast enough to actually get some downward momentum on that blasted starship.

I read something that said using Force Lightning was the easiest way to deal with them. If I ever replay that level I'll have to try that.

In other news, I finally beat the game! I was able to get past the opening hanger by killing everything, (kind of proud of that), and then move on. The Death Star was a pretty cool level. I thought it was interesting to learn that there are 65 laser chambers that all get focused into about 8 lasers that are then focused in the main super laser. Didn't know that before.

As for the story, (spoilers), I liked it. The canon ending was pretty cool, and really helped to bridge the 2 trilogies. Not sure I buy the "1 year before ANH" idea, but still, it was cool. I would like to know how Kota dies since he's still alive at the end of TFU. My guess is that Vader eventually catches up with him.

The dark side ending was pretty cool too. I love the creepy "Sith Stalker Armor" costume that you unlock with that ending. I just wish Palpy would have dubbed him "Darth .....", but I guess he wasn't really making him his apprentice, just another tool.

Anyone else have problems with the bonus objectives and goals in the last few missions? I saw a lot of "Default Text" on the objectives screen. Kinda lame, but it happens.

Any cool unlockables? I managed to get all of the lightsaber crystals, (power and color), thanks to some help from an online FAQ. I think I want to go back and try a couple of the codes I've seen, (like playing as a Stormtrooper). Other than that, I think I'm done with this game. I liked it a lot though and hope they make another one with the same engine and powers, (maybe a KOTOR era game?).

I finally got TFU over the weekend (it dropped to $29.99 at Best Buy so I decided it was about time to buy it) for my PS3. I just finished defeating Kazdan Paratus, who's an annoyingly slippery bastiche, and reached Felucia. So far, I'm enjoying it and it's great to be gaming again in the SW Galaxy. However, some of the issues I noted waaay back from the demo persist in the full game, like Starkiller's habit of continuing the last couple frames of an attack animation even after finishing off an opponent at the very edge of a precarious drop. It's not a big deal but just something the developers could've fixed for such a combat-oriented game.

I'll post more thoughts on it as I progress further.

About time Ulic! I'd put this in my top 5 of SW video games, (behind RS 1 & 3, and KOTOR, but probably ahead of KOTOR 2, IMHO), and the BIGGEST SW fan I know not having it seemed wrong.

Looking forward to your thoughts. Its been a while since I finished it, but I'm sure you'll remind me of anything I may have forgotten, (and point out some things I may have missed).
