I'm still watching it, but I'm always a couple weeks behind on everything.

He's not just talkin' about TV, there, folks!

There is a local guy that is a big Lost fan and he's got a site with previews and reviews of each episode. Or at least back to the third episode of this season. From reading the early posts on his site, he was set up somewhere else before starting this site. Not sure why he switched or why he didn't archive the posts to put up on the new site.

Anyway, the site is Seth is LOST

Its pretty interesting and he has seems to have some decent insider knowledge. Plus his episode reviews are interesting. Most of them brough up at least something I missed in the episode.

I'm still watching it, and enjoying it. Show's been on a roll ever since the greatness of last season's finale.

I'm very interested to see where they go with this "dead people reappearing" angle, what with Jack's dad being seen by both Jack (in the flashforward) and Claire. And not only was Christian there, he was holding Aaron, which suggests he really is a tangible being. Or perhaps it just seemed that way to Claire. Miles obviously saw him, too, but Miles can "see dead people," so it's still hard to say what's going on.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how frakkin' HOT Evangeline Lilly looked last night. And that frakker Matthew Fox not only got to make out with her but grab her wonderful ass, too. Lucky bastiche.

So...great episode in my opinion, there were a lot of "holy shit!" moments. Specifically when Richard showed up to "test" Locke. Interesting. That guy really is ageless. I wonder what the test was about, and I hope that we learn more on that.

The boat situation is getting intersting. I'm looking forward to the coming war.

Claire's hanging out with her dead dad in Jacob's cabin? Does that mean she's dead, or just following a ghost, (and therefore should be in the nuthouse with Hurley)?

The guy who visited Hurley is Locke's orderly, and he planted the seed that he should go on the Walk-about? Clearly there was more planning into what brought Locke, (and maybe everyone on the plane), to the island than we originally thought.

Oh, and to save the island all Locke and Ben have to do is MOVE THE ISLAND!?!??!!??? WTF?!?

I saved it so I'm going to try to rewatch it this weekend, and then I'll have more to say. Looking forward to what you all have to say about the episode.

Anyone catch the finale last night?

HOLY CRAP! That was a great episode. It gave us some answers, and of course more questions, but I really liked it. As usual, I think I need to rewatch it to try and figure out what the heck is going on.

Due to work, I haven't been able to discuss Lost (or BSG, for that matter) nearly as much as I've wanted to, but I saw the finale and loved it. It was almost as good as last season's game-changer.

Penny and Desmond's reunion easily takes the award for "feel good moment of the entire series." That was awesome. I especially like how they almost made us think Des had bought it a few minutes before when the helicopter crashed into the water. It made the reunion even sweeter.

Locke being "Jeremy Bentham" was something I did not see coming, and I think most fans didn't consider him as a possibility when putting together their short list of potentials for the coffin. How the frak did he get off the Island? How did he die? The newspaper said he committed suicide but none of the Oceanic 6 seemed to buy that.

The sequence with the bomb on the freighter was terrific, and I think they found an appropriate way to bring closure to Michael's story arc. When Christian (or the apparition calling itself Christian) appeared and told him "you can go now," they made it fairly clear that Michael died attempting to save everyone else. Some fans still think he survived, but Christian's comment and the fact that entire chain of events played out as it did screamed "Michael's redemption" to me.

As for Jin, I don't believe he died. He probably jumped overboard just before the explosion, though his proximity to the blast probably injured him. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that Faraday and the others on the Zodiac rescued him from the water, as I'm sure they would've headed there to look for survivors.

This whole season was superb, IMO. The writers and showrunners were on top of their game on virtually every episode, and they've got me wondering with restless anticipation over what's to come next year, just as they did with the previous season's finale.

By the way, remember that phone call Kate received just prior to seeing Claire in Aaron's room? The message was in reverse, and the voice was saying "The Island needs you. You have to go back before it's too late." I heard the clip and the voice could be either Sawyer's or Christian's -- it's too hard to tell for sure since it was delivered in a very whispery manner.

Ulic, you seem to be the resident expert on all things Lost. Did you happen to find out what Sawyer said to Kate in the helicopter? The wife and I were talking and there was an earlier episode where Kate says something to Jack about promising Sawyer, but I can't remember what that was.

Anyone else remember or know what he said to her?

Overall, I agree with Ulic...great episode, great season. I can't wait until next season.

In the 3rd season, Lost had a bad habit of not resolving anything (or doing it at a glacial pace) and bringing up more questions. S4 was, in my estimation, one of the best seasons of any TV show. EVER. Really. All our questions were answered and dozens more were asked. That, my friends, is how you resolve year-old questions AND keep your audience on the hook for 8 months.

Well, yeah. In the flash forward where Jack confronted her about who she was speaking with on the phone, Kate asked him to trust her and finally confessed that she had promised to do some things for Sawyer.

Finally got around to seeing the third episode of the show.

I've seen a total of five episodes, now.

It's not so bad.

You can pretty much skip season 2 and jump ahead. That'll save you some time. It's worth it, though.

My wife claims she guessed it was Locke as soon as Ben walked in, but she didn't say it out loud. I was surprised by it. I'm guessing if that was really 3ish years after the Oceanic 6 were rescued, that in that time Locke learns most of the island's secrets, including how to come and go freely. If Mr. Friendly can do it, then the leader of the group should be able to as well.

That brings up a good question. When Mr. Friendly goes and finds Michael, is that before or after Locke blows up the submarine?? If it's before, then that's how he can get to and from the island, if it was after, then how did he get off, and then back on the island?

I think Jin is probably toast. Even if he survived the blast, AND the Zodiac picked him up, where are they going to go? Also, I've heard the speculation that the Zodiac craft was close enough to the island that it got moved with it, so it wouldn't have been around to pick up Jin.

I wonder if she remembers that clip and understood what it said when she woke up? If so, that would explain why she tells Aaron "I'm sorry". I anxiously await next season. It just sucks that it will be 8 months until its back.

Alright, since I'm probably the last person to watch the finale, I'll go ahead and dispense with the spoiler tags.

Great finale. That definitely cements this as the best season of Lost. Season 1 was the only contender, but that 2 hour bore of a finale cost it first place. Funny thing is, it's the only season where the finale disappointed. The 2nd and 3rd season, it was far and away the highlight. And this season definitely delivered.

And while I was waaaaiiittttiiiiinnnnnnggggg for them to reveal who was in the coffin, I decided it had to be Locke. Damn I'm good!!

Lost is back, baby! Awesome two-hour premiere. SO much to discuss. Who else saw it?

The two best shows on TV -- BSG and Lost -- back again at the same time. And both driving toward their respective end-games. Frakking awesome stuff.

So whoever said the Zodiac was "in" the island's radius was right, (I posted it, but I didn't call it). So that means they didn't pick up Jin. So still no word on him.

Seems like Ben has a group of followers off the island as well as the one on the island. The jewler being one of them really makes total sense.

The island shifting through time is pretty awesome. One minute crater, next restored hatch. Cool!!

Locke seems to be on track to figure out how to get off the island, but it may take him going the same way Ben did, and thus can't go back and forth the way some thought. Also, I'm no longer convinced he's dead. I don't remember exactly what was said, but at a couple points last night Ben seemed to imply Locke will be back in the land of the living soon enough.

I don't think it was spelled out, but its interesting how they imply the O6 + Ben + Locke are the islands "constant". Makes me think Desmond will have to go back too.


















Anyone have any other thoughts on last night's episodes?

Ulic, still "Lost"?

Couple great episodes the last two weeks. A Lost site I check regularly, (http://www.sethislost.com), pretty much called everything that happened last week, ("316"). This week was interesting to see how Locke got off the island, and what happened to him from then until ending up in that coffin.

Also, I think its finally determined once and for all that Benjamin Linus is a bad dude.

I'll hold off on much else until I hear if anyone is trying to catch up. Don't want to spoil anyone.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. It's nice to watch it now where more questions are answered than asked.

Any ideas what happened to Farraday in the future? Since his mother is involved and he was clearly on the island before (when they were building The Orchid), he must have the ability to move between time on the island. Thoughts?

I barely noticed that Farraday wasn't around in the 1977 parts of the episode. But after the episode I was thinking, "That explains why Daniel was at the building of the Orchid." So I kind of assumed that the 70's is when all the DI stations were build and that answers the question of how Daniel got to the time when the Orchid was being built.

Anyone else catch that the 4 toed statue looked oddly like Anubis? So that makes me think the island is something like purgatory, (even though the creators have said its not purgatory, it could still be LIKE purgatory).

And so much for 3 years being enough time to get over someone. The look Sawyer gave Kate proves the romantic part of the show's about to get messy!

One question that I have after last night, where the heck are Bernard and Rose? I can't believe they kept them both alive long enough to be re-united, and survive the random attacks during the time jumps only to have them die off screen. Hopefully we'll see what happened to them during the 3 years on the island, (even if its just a few minutes out of an episode).
