Star Wars Legos

I'm a sucker for pretty much any Star Wars Legos. I think I have just about every set they've come out with, and have put together most of them. Only a few I haven't, but that's only because they are new and I haven't had time.

My latest accomplishment was finishing the Death Star II that I started sometime over the summer. Took me around 13 1/2 hours.

I had a look at the Death Star II. It looked pretty damned sweet.

It is. I would still rank it behind the UCS Star Destroyer though. Maybe it was because that was the first set of that magnitude, or maybe its just cooler because it has engines, guns, etc.

I'm sure both of them will be reduced to "wastes of time" once I tackle the monstrosity that is the UCS Millenium Falcon. $500, 5,000+ piece mini-fig scale. That's probably going to take me close to 20 hours. I'm looking forward to starting it, but I probably won't for quite a while.

I think this might be a good 1st Christmas present for my son.

Yes, (he'll be 4 months old Christmas day), but I could buy it this year and he can use it in the future. Nothing says he HAS to use it right away, right? I probably won't actually get it 'cause $35 for a saucer sled is a lot. Its still cool though.

I might have gone to $235,000 for something as sweet as a vintage lightsaber prop, but that's already a few hundred over my usual cap.

I would only pay that much if it actually worked.

I just saw "Victor Echo November" last night. That episode cracks me up.

I've been replenishing, of late. I have lost a lot of Star Wars related stuff over the years. Some of it is due to moving. Some of it is due to my idiot stone hands. I traded some of it for oral sex.

I've stopped getting new stuff. I'm more interested in getting back all of what I can remember having lost.

So, anyway, I used to have all the Burger King-issue Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi drinking glasses. I ended up breaking all but two ESB glasses and all but one RotJ glass. Thanks to eBay, I now have all the RotJ glasses again. I also completed my Deka coffee cup collection. (There are only two in the set, to my knowledge.)

The most exciting recent addition? Orange soap bars with an X-Wing Pilot Luke relief. I remembered these with some fondness, but it seemed unlikely that anyone would have saved them. Turns out at least one person had saved four. I bought them. The coolest part is what's written on the back of the packaging:
