The season premiere was great. Yvonne StraHOTski was sexy as always and the chemistry between her and Zachary is terrific. The scenes in the Buy More were, as usual, one of the highlights, with Morgan organizing the "Thunderdome" to determine who would become the new assistant store manager. But the part with Creepy Jeff rubbing his foot against Chuck's leg during his interview, just as Anna had during hers, had me rolling with laughter.

I also loved how Chuck was able to more or less save the day using his own wits and a sudden, inspired dose of courage, rather than relying solely on Sarah and Casey's protection.

Does anyone know if Hulu.com is going to continue showing new episodes online prior to NBC airing them? Or was that just a one-shot thing for the season premiere?

Look for Hulu to beat the networks to the computer screen. It takes Fox eight days to put up a new episode. Or, at least, it has traditionally. The On Demand website used to even announce this on the website, as though making us wait a mere eight days was doing us some kind of favor. All the while, other networks were getting their shows up the next day.

I don't use hulu except for snl clips because their content just mirrors what the networks have available on their own sites, and the networks' sites have better resolution.

Haven't been keeping track with how quickly Fox puts up their shows, but Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles from Monday, Fringe from Tuesday, and the 2 eps of 'Til Death from yesterday are all up. Tuesday's House isn't up yet, however.

Good. I missed (and the DVR didn't record for some reason) Sarah Connor, too, on Monday.

So dumbass NBC didn't rerun Chuck on Saturday at the scheduled time (8 PM Central), instead rerunning Knight Rider. That was supposed to rerun at 7 PM, so I'm guessing they swapped the 2 in a lame-o attempt to trick people into watching that godawful KR show. I did watch a small bit of it, enough to see that this time around KITT is a Transformer. Fortunately Bravo stuck to their schedule for rerunning Sunday at 4 PM, so I nabbed the Chuckster then.

Uh, no it's not.

I tried to watch NCIS in HD, yesterday, and it paused to buffer every 3 minutes, or so. I'm not kidding.

And no, it wasn't me or my computer or my internet connection. I watched Terminator on FOX's website just before that and it didn't pause once.

Even when I re-attempted the last 12 minutes in SD, this morning, it got a little choppy.

Well, maybe the CBS player just likes me more. Haven't had a problem with it--not with Firefox 3, at least.

I suppose I could try a different browser. But, I also s'pose that my DVR could just fucking record it like I told it to.

Yeah, I had the same problem. But I had my DVR set to record it, and when it wasn't there on Sunday I was a little upset. Especially when it just gave a reason like, "unknown error". Thanks, that was helpful. This new one sucks!

As you mentioned, Bravo did have a re-run, so I DVR'd that one. I hope they keep it up because it looks like my Mondays are not going to get better any time soon.

Oh, and my wife just called, the DVR doesn't even want to turn on today. Great, probably means its dead and I will be without TV for a few days. Ugh.

Finally got around to watching the first 4 episodes of the season that were collecting dust on my DVR.

I forgot how good this show is. Oddly enough, I find some of the better comedy while they are in the BuyMore. Chuck interviewing for the Assistant Manager job was hilarious.

Agreed.

Chuck is absolute greatness. One of the best shows in the history of TV. I kid you not.

Watching the show and seeing the cast in action is pure joy. It's so damn fun, and funny as hell. The way the writers balance Chuck, Sarah, and Casey's spy adventures with the zaniness of the Nerd Herd at the Buy More is just awesome. Only on Chuck can you see the following in the same episode:

- A plot revolving around playing and beating Missle Command in order to save the world.
- The '80s classic "You've got the touch" from The Transformers: Animated Film playing in the background as they lead up to the aforementioned attempt to beat Missle Command.
- Nerds at Atari HQ mockingly calling other tech support guys "nerds" and refusing their service... only to be trumped by an uberhottie dressed in decidedly sexier Nerd Herd gear (read: short black skirt and small blouse) strutting in minutes later, causing the lot of them to fall over themselves in welcome. Loved that part.
- Lead character realizing that Missle Command was created to synchronize perfectly with the music of Rush, and using that knowledge to defeat the game as the band's most iconic song rocked out over the speakers at the Buy More.

Every episode of the show is filled with gems like these. It never disappoints.

They could cancel Heroes and make Chuck two hours long each week, and I'd watch it. I love this show.

I loved it too. I think this was my favorite episode of the season, and possibly the series, so far. Just fantastic.

When "The Touch" started playing, I had a huge grin on my face.

I'm not sure I'm on the "Cancel-Heroes Bandwagon" yet, but I could do with two hours of Chuck. Let's cancel My Own Worst Enemy and push Heroes back to 10... then have two hours of Chuck.

I just found out that Bravo is no longer rerunning Chuck eps on Sunday. That means I'll have to catch last week's ep at nbc.com. As usual, I'm a couple weeks behind.

Glad to hear they're adding in different tunes. I've only watched the first 2 eps so far, and I was starting to worry they were planning to play Huey Lewis's entire catelog.
