I've been getting this error message over, and over, and over, and over again this morning. I know this place is free so it's kinda hard to criticize them for providing a free service, but they're kind like Sex Panther Cologne: 60% of the time, this board works every time. Except 60% might be pushing it.

Well, this truely sucks.
I just upgraded to the new Firefox release and now I can't stay logged into the board. At all.
I log in and the forums with new posts show up. I click one of those forum links and, poof, I'm not logged in anymore.
So, Firefox users beware.... It appears v3.0 has a few issues yet.

I had that problem with the old skin that had the login and password field under the logo. That never worked for me, but if I clicked on the "profile" link, it would prompt me to log in, and it would hold that until I closed the browser window (or if it was inactive for X amount of time).
On this skin, those fields at the top aren't there, but if I click the "login" link in the menu bar, it acts the same way.
It still doesn't rememeber me, though, so I have to do this every time I close the browser window.
I'm still using IE6, by the way. I fear change.

I don't know if it's a Firefox thing: I've had similar problems at times, most particularly when I've been logged in from library computers. What I used to do was click on the "log in to check your messages" link, and then I would click the box that reads something like "log me in automatically on each visit." That would generally keep me logged in.

Sometimes I'm logged-in, sometimes I'm not. At work I'm on IE and I have to log-in three times before it stays logged-in.
At home I have the newest version of Firefox and NEVER have a problem.
I think it has more to do with firewalls and the general suckitude of Free Forums.

Well, I guess it's nice to know I'm not alone. Still annoyed, but not lonely.
Also, Firefox 3 doesn't support the ad-block plug-in I was using with the last version so Now I have ads again.
Oh well, that's what I get for being an early adopter. Should'uv stuck with what was already working. On the up side, this version does seem to run a little faster.

Hey, on the bright side, now you can see the Diva Village girl!
She continues to haunt my dreams.
I think it's the site, to be honest. I thought my login woes were due to the nature of my work computer environment, but the same login troubles happen on less secure, less restricted machines in other free environments.
We will adapt!
